X.5150.: Referring to our telephone conversation this afternoon we send you herewith a drawing shewing how far we have carried the question of modifying the pump. It shew the P. 2. pump rotor with a volute of reduced section to give the necessary choking effect at high speeds. In view of your remarks with regard to the material of the pump casing, the dimensions as regards thickness, and the remarks with regard to the gland parts, should be disregarded.
