Car's poor springing, detailing its weight distribution and original spring specifications.

Sir John Latta has regarding it. if it were sent to Derby, as I think this could be arranged.

There is no question that whatever the cause, and various alterations in the springs have so far not removed it, the springing of this car is distinctly poor.

For your information the weight of the car as weighed was 50 cwt. 2 qrs. 14 lbs. distributed front axle 24 cwts. 2 qrs. 7 lbs. rear axle 26 cwts. 0 qrs. 7 lbs., whilst various items to be added brought the fully equipped weight up to 52 cwts. 3 qrs. 0 lbs.

Springs originally fitted were 1200, 1250, 2212, 2320 lbs., but these have been changed, and I imagine that records of these changes will be available at W.
