Re: Sir John Latta. Chassis No. 82-LC.

With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG27.9.27, I believe Sir John Latta uses his car both for journeys of considerable length in the country, and I know he likes to travel fast, and also to go from his house in Portman Square to the City. I think it is only conditions arising on the former of these two uses which upset him, so that for the purposes of considering any alterations in his springing it is the high speed open road conditions which are important.

I think it would be very interesting to be able to try the car which you are altering for Captain Kruse under these conditions and, if possible, I would like to get Sir John Latta to try it also. Can you let me know the approximate date when this car will be finished so that I may have the opportunity of trying it and also of finding out whether Sir John Latta will be available about the same time?

CWB.
