X3409 Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}3/MJ. April 7th.1930. The British Belting & Asbestos Co., 59, Southwark Street, LONDON S.E.1. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Dalmaine. With reference to our conversation at the Works the other day on the question of the woven cotton servo linings which you produce for our cars. You will recollect that you suggested that you might use rather more bonding material in the woven cotton discs, which would prevent the edges fraying. We should like to try some samples treated in this manner but would request that you should alter the frictional qualities of the lining as little as possible in doing so. The piece numbers we use are 40/50 - G.E.77775. 20 HP.- G.54030. and we should like four off each. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
