GIRLING BRAKES - BENTLEY II.A.

It is proposed to standardise the above as soon as possible to the following specification. Will you please make an LOP. and be ready to instruct the works. You have most of the details ready because you instructed a set of brakes for 3.B.1V.

Servo Motor - M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} series with exception of linings which should be Halo 2.L.

Cross shaft ) & idler lever) - RR.Sch.1116.

Rear equalizer GCD.134.

One piece transverse rods Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}1/AP. 16.2.38.

Rear brakes: Expanders, .750" cone movement, GCD.482.

Adjusters GCD.250.

shoes R.R. Chromium; brake drums standard.

Linings Ferodo M.R.3.

Cross Member stiffener G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Dept detail.

Front equalizer Outside levers 1.85" crs.

GB.1868 (NS{Norman Scott}) and Ex.29603 (OS)

Plate lever 1.75" crs.

Front brake ropes 43 9/16" crs. (Details requd)

All equalizer levers in line.
