To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 1158. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.10/MH.{M. Huckerby}2.11.38. 25.G.VI HEATING SYSTEM. The above system on this car works well but suffers from two defects, namely noise and smell. Will you please modify the funnel intake behind the matrix to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std's verbal instructions to prevent air and noise leakage. Will you also please substitute a sheet metal duct for the 3" rubber hose connection between the intake funnel and dash board connection, in order to obviate the smell of heated rubber which persists at present. Finally, will you please modify and reduce the size of the distributing pipe inside body to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std's verbal instructions.
