Item No.19.

NOISY OIL PUMPS.

Depots can cure this complaint by the fitting of the reservoir per H.206. The Works are also producing better gears on future cars, and are fitting the reservoir.

Item No.20.

ENGINE OVEROILING, PISTON KNOCKS & PISTON FAILURES.

The fitting of long skirt pistons should considerably reduce piston knocks. The fitting of a cap with a .025" hole in the rocker, inlet valve end, should prevent the overoiling complained of.

DYNAMO.

The improved high output dynamo with the half charge scheme, now on production, should considerably delete dynamo troubles.

Item No.22.

CENTRAL LUBRICATION FAILURES.

The central lubrication system is being dealt with. There have been several modifications made. Each chassis is carefully examined during test for any faults.

Item No.23.

BATTERY SUSPENSION.

The suspension now fitted to chassis has not given any trouble. The number quoted in the last report are modifications to prevent failures.

CARBURETTER TROUBLES.

The complaints of carburetters have been considerably reduced with the attention to the air valve pins, throttle and float needle.
