REAR AXLE THRUST.

This job has been thoroughly dealt with. The 20/25 HP. rear axle is now practically free from troubles.

Item 13.
TELEGAUGE.

With the fitting of the fused glass joint, the telegauges are freer from troubles than previously. We are, however, still not satisfied with the instrument, and we are continually in correspondence with the manufacturers to obtain further improvements.

PROPELLER SHAFT JOINTS.

Attention has been paid to the fitting of the leather packing rings by the Works. We are experimenting with an improved method of filling the joints to prevent pressure making the joints leak.

Item No.15.
STARTER MOTOR DRIVES.

We are carrying out work with the Phantom starter motor to overcome the over lubrication and gumminess. The 20/25 HP motor is giving very little trouble since the fitting of a stronger spring. Modifications have been made in production which should give more consistent results.

Item No.16.
PETROL TANK LEAKS.

The joints complained of are now fitted with velomoid washers, and cheese head screws are fitted replacing countersunk screws which gave trouble.

RADIATOR LEAKS.

The Works have made improvements in the manufacturing process which should delete these troubles.

FAN PULLEYS.
