Correcting an order for bearings from Ransome & Marles.

Cassel} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}18.5.39. The other day we asked you to order from Messrs. Ransome & Marles 6 of each of the following bearings, DMJT.45 and DMJT.35. Unfortunately, we forgot to specify that these should be journal fit, i.e. DMJT.45.J and DMJT.35.J. We have telephoned Mr. Hickling of Ransome & Marles, and he says they are willing to take back 5 of each of these bearings which have not yet been used, and that they will supply us almost immediately with 6 of each having a journal fit. Will the Order Office, therefore, send Ransome & Marles the necessary official order, and will WSC.{W. S. Cassel} send back immediately the ten bearings we have.
