To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/B.17.10.38. I am of the opinion that a better supervision is needed in dealing with units sent to the Works Repair Department. I do not wish to take up your time with such matters, but I believe a word from you to the right source would materially be beneficial. I am sending you as a case, a DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}225 Cutout, recently sent to be repaired. The Advice Note was W/2125. You will see the condition in which it has been sent back, and K.{Mr Kilner} rightly refused to fit it. Apart from the bare wire on the main current lead, there is an odd split washer not tightened up, on the contact blade. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
