Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge the receipt of your favour of the 20th inst. ref. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}9/CB20.1.20, also your kind order C.O. 875 for 10 Upright petrol gauges.

We shall be in a position to give you quick delivery of these, but would ask you to be kind enough to leave the matter over until next week, as the Manager of our Petrol Gauge department is at the present moment at the Glasgow Exhibition.

We will, however, ask him to deal with this matter immediately upon his return, which we trust will be satisfactory to you.
