Carried out oil test, Removed the bearing Caps, Measured the amount of sinkage of the upper and lower halves of the main bearings, Stepped upper faces of liners, as necessary, Fitted a set of R.R.-56 liners to main bearings, Reduced faces of bearing Caps. Fitted a set of R.R.-56 liners to the big ends and shaped liners as necessary, Carried out an oil test, Cleaned dismantled parts. Tested car on road before and after repairs.
