| -2- With regard to the 11" size fitted with moulded facings, there is a slight possibility that we may salvage a certain small percentage. The salvage of these facings is made more difficult by the fact that we have in accordance with your recent instructions drilled facings deeper so that fixing rivet head is lower than our standard. We accordingly enclose herewith our official quotation covering the modification of approximately 150 of each size driven plate, and salvage has not been taken into consideration. Should we find it possible to save a certain quantity of the 11" size, we will most certainly arrange for the appropriate credit to be passed to you. We trust that enclosed quotation will be found acceptable. Finally, the writer understands that our Service Department have received an order for approximately 50 11" driven plates; this order has also been held up and we should appreciate your advice as to whether you will require Thermoid facings to be fitted.
