Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} E- 457 R2/M1.10.28. CAR ENGINE MOUNTING G.4. & EAC.10. X.5005 X.7005 X.457 I suggest that probably the best suspension of the engine will be vertically rigid at the front, and flexible at the back - I mean equal to harder rubbers in front, and slightly more flexible ones at the back. This will probably need suspension behind the gearbox. If the front of the frame is more rigid against torsion the high speed wobbles are generally considered to be at higher speeds, or less in intensity. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
