Feb 16/21 & " 26/21. Job instructed to Expl. Shop by Ry.

Apr. 4/21. General Arrgt. & L.O.P. issued by Ry.

June.4/21. First model completed by Expl. Shop and handed to us for test.

June.6/21. Second model (for R) completed and now being sent to R (not sent before owing to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}'s intention to bring it with him on projected visit.

It will be seen from the above where the delays in the matter have occurred.

So far as we are concerned the Depts. in which the delays have occurred have been kept alive to the desirability of pushing this job through, but have had good reasons for the delay.

During my visit to Mr. Royce he asked that we should inform him when any delay is occurring on electrical experimental jobs. We thereupon informed Mr. Royce of our impression that the correct share of attention is not allotted to electrical experimental jobs in our Expl. Production Shop.
