| X 228 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}22/KW.21.6.34. Gearbox Synchromesh Rattles. Further to Hdy.{William Hardy}2/HP.19.6.34, we should like to try the second alternative, in which longitudinal grooves are used to locate the additional plungers. We remember at the beginning of our synchromesh troubles that it was necessary to have two rows of the ordinary plungers for a smooth operation. If therefore you could put the necessary parts in hand, we will fit them to 1-E-IV as soon as they are ready. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
