STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS
Description of Parts: METAL COVERS FOR REAR BRAKE ADJUSTMENT.

Origin: To improve design.
Experimental Test Report:
The present leather covers fitted to rear brake adjusters do not last. They are destroyed by stones, grit and heat. In France they were always completely destroyed before the 10,000 miles was completed.
Road Test Report:
Fitted to 8-EX - run 10,000 miles - definite improvement over leather.
Fitted to 11-EX car.
Recommended for standardisation.
Choices:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
