STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Description of Parts. CUTOUT OPERATING MECHANISM.
Origin. To improve reliability.
Experimental Test Report.
The present exhaust cutout is operated by a wire cable.
The proposed design is to use rods - this is a definite improvement.
Road Test Report.
Run 10,000 miles on 8-EX. No trouble.
Fitted to 11-EX and 7-EX. Run 4,000 miles. No troubles.
