We acknowledge receipt of your cable reading: "Derby 682 Burton Rear spring stiffness 130 pounds per inch front 250 pounds per inch" We thank you for this information which is exactly what we required. We expect to have to produce a small number of springs to make changes on these chassis when the original specifications do not come out in accordance with the final body weights. We expect to forward to you in a very short time an order for about six sets of main plates, rebound clips, etc. for this purpose. Yours very truly, Robert B. Burton Chief Engineer - Chassis Div.
