To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from CJ. CJ1/D20.3.32. We are sending back the "Goshawk" Limousine. We asked for it to be sent up so that LBS. could try it with Mr. Gibbs. They are both of them very disappointed with the performance of the car, and we feel that no further "Goshawk" demonstrations should be given unless Derby are satisfied that the running of the car is sufficiently good for demonstration purposes. Mr. Northey says that the S.U. carburettor improves the performance by 45%. If this is so, to allow anyone to try a "Goshawk" with the old carburettor on is a fatal error and must not be repeated.
