DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. 113-d 114 This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. Trunion Ball Races. Mr. Barrington. 29.3.12. AW6/G29312. Herewith is copy of report from Mr. Hallam which I should be glad if you will bring before the Technical Committee at the earliest opportunitly. "We have a lot of trunion ball races to renew. My experience has shown me that in the old type cars previous to the 40/50 they do not require renewing so often. This is, I think because they are fed with oil from the lubricator on the dashboard. I consider it is a part which we should provide with better lubrication and suggest a large wick lubricator be fitted on the trunion carrier, in the same position as the hole is at present. This, if filled with oil daily would keep it well lubricated." AW X964 B MAR 29 1912 This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
