COPY. Wilmot Breeden Ltd., Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 19.3.40. Dear Sirs, SPECIAL FRONT BUMPERS. P.L.70. Further to our letter of the 18th. inst. and our telephonic conversation of this afternoon, we have pleasure in enclosing two blueprint copies of our drawing Pd.Exp.6178/C. showing our latest suggestion for this equipment. You will note that we propose utilising a full length Mainspring which will be coupled to the Bar or Blade at the extreme ends through the medium of the overriders, and at the centre by the special medallion badge. To achieve this result it will be necessary to re-space the overriders at 47" against previous 38" centres. The centre badge will consist of a die-cast housing, with a medallion following the lines of your present job, but on a smaller scale. Will you kindly peruse our prints and let us have your complete comments regarding what further action you wish us to take in this matter. Assuring you of our keen interest at all times, we remain, etc, R.P.Baker. for Wilmot Breedons. Ltd., | ||
