To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From G.W.H. Hotel de France. Chateauroux. Indre. 9.5.33. Y5840 18. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} IV. The car is held up pending the arrival of Mr. Parsons representative, whom we are expecting to night. The windscreen will have to be replaced. We can run without it temporary after he has seen it. We have made a thorough inspection of the car and cannot find any other damage, other than stated. The road wheels have been tested and they are in no way damaged, so we expect to start our mileage again on Thursday. I have been in telephone communication with Sr. re. legal advice and an assistant of their lawyer in Paris is coming down to-night. We are expecting to have to appear in the court here to-morrow to verify the report of the police of Vatan, after that we do not know what will be the procedure. We will let you know as soon as it is possible G.W.Hancock. G.W.H. | ||
