GEARBOXES.

We want to be able to standardise the same oil in both 40/50 and 20/25 gearboxes. On 40/50 this has to be engine oil in order to get an easy synchromesh operation. Will you therefore run 18.G.IV. on engine oil and give us your opinion as to increased noise, if any, when idling or using the indirect gears.
