Dear Mr. Cartmell,

Mr. Royce has a 20 HP. car at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. The Laissez-Passer was taken out for this car when it went across and it expires on the 14th. Feb.

Would it be possible for you to wangle a 3-months licence for this car without the fag of the car having to go from Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence to Nice? If you could possibly do anything, I am sure it would be appreciated by Mr. Royce.

Will you please reply direct to (and send us a copy) -

F.{Mr Friese} Dodd, Restaurant Octobon, Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence,
Par Le Lavandou, (Var) France.

This fellow is in charge of the car at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.

I am looking forward to having a run down to the south of France before long and hope, if I do so, to get over to Nice.

Yours sincerely,
