Dear Sirs,

re: Chassis No.5.B.IV.

We are in receipt of your letter dated 21st. inst., (ref. as above,) regarding our Invoice No.3139 for 15/-d dated 19th instant addressed to Messrs. Bentley Motors, and in reply would inform you that we have not received an official order for this work, although one was requested in our letter of the 18th December.

The car was delivered and collected by a Representative of the Experimental Department of Messrs. Bentley Motors of Derby on the 18th December, but unfortunately we omitted to get his name.

We trust this information will enable you to trace the matter.
