R.{Sir Henry Royce} Chandler. Dear Sirs, RE:- 11" THERMOID FACINGS. We thank you for your letter of the 6th. instant, and have duly noted your remarks relative to the inside diameter of the 11" Thermoid facings being supplied to you. In this connection would advise that no change has been made in the dimensions of the 11" Thermoid facings since you have been taking this particular size, and in fact this is the nearest size we could obtain to our standard dimensions without incurring the cost of new moulds, etc. You will appreciate that the comparatively small quantity that it is necessary for us to obtain from America hardly justifies this, and we trust that you will see your way clear to continue with the size which is at present being used, which is 11" O.D. x 6 5/8" I.D., as compared with the moulded facings of 10 7/8" O.D. x 6 3/4" I.D.
