Dear Mr. Ward,

Now that we have your analysis on Bentley weights we have been able to make a few comparisons.

The attached report indicates that the Bentley body itself is commendably light. It has, of course, one advantage over the american cars, and that is, the dashboard is part of the frame and not of the body. The front wings and running boards, however, are relatively heavy. We should like to ask what weight reduction there will be on the reduced running boards you are making for short wheelbase Bentley.
