CHASSIS FOR LORD CHOLMONDELEY.

Replying to C7/Cl7.9.31. We are sorry to hear that you do not intend to change the camshaft on Lord Cholmondeley's car, because all our experience with high compression engines has been obtained with this modified camshaft. With that combination we have had a car which has run practically 10,000 miles and therefore we are in a position to safely recommend it.

If we use the standard camshaft we know we are going to be worse for detonation and low speed torque reaction. We have not had sufficient experience to be able to say how much worse.
