X.3426 Mr. Shaw. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/2P/30.10.23. RE. GROUND BEVEL GEARS. X.4543 X.3426 In discussing the question of the two Axles fitted respectively with 40/50 ground gears and 20 HP. ground gears, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would like you to try same in our standard body so that we shall be able to form a better idea in regard to the quietness of the gears. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and myself would both like to go out with you on the test car when the axles in question are fitted. After hearing same we will then fit to experimental cars and run for a short period and then re-check. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
