1326. To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Sr. c. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}22.1.40. TOOL KITS. Now is the time to rationalise tool kits. What we are after is a minimum kit for the average purchaser of our £750 2-litre model at the bottom of the rationalised range. The suggestion, which we think is a good one, is to supply such a customer with an additional outfit of tools and spares if and when he goes touring on the Continent. The more expensive cars, i.e. above £1,000, may have the additional Continental equipment included in their specification. We should like Sr's comment on the Continental spares. Will Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} please look into the question of modifying nut sizes as soon as possible. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
