The De Bergue Company, of Manchester, have patented a Countersunk Riveting Process - details of which you will find on sheet attached.(This is the only copy I have. Perhaps RG{Mr Rowledge} will kindly circulate to the others mentioned).

This is applicable to material up to 16 gauge, and samples attached show typical examples of riveting by this process.

De Bergue claim that it can be used for riveting in reasonable ductile materials, Copper, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel etc. and they will gladly send over a Representative to rivet an experimental Petrol Tank in our presence, bringing all the necessary tackle, should we be interested.

Sample No.1 - is in Duralumin with 5/32" dia. Rivets
Sample No.2 - is Stainless, 17% Chromium Iron rivits
