URGENT. S/W EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Handwritten: W/HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X766 H2/TB/22.10.24. Re:- Chassis No. 3-KG. - I. de Pedraza. Over-heating Complaint. This case, which is one of the difficult ones, and as to which you have considerable correspondence, has now been revived in the same form by a letter from Barkers informing us that Madame Pedraza has called to see them full of complaints of the overheating of the car on the flat, in spite of its having been into Mr. Salamanca's works at Madrid five times, and in spite of the various steps we have taken to overcome the difficulty there in the past. BJ. wishes to know if your investigations at W. have yet put you into the position to say what step should be taken now in order that this Rolls-Royce car may not compare unfavourably with the Hispano-Suiza owned by the same owner, and which undertakes journeys side by side in Spain with 3-KG; the latter frequently requiring to have its radiator filled several times on the journey. The matter is urgent. RECEIVED (Stamp) HE (Stamp) H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
