Phantom III Weights.

Further to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}24/KW.3.4.36, herewith further information on Ph.III weights.

The figure of the weight of coachwork given is the bare body shell with the seats and wings..

The chassis weight of 37 cwts. 21 lbs. is the chassis with equipment corresponding to that usually incorporated in a chassis weight figure. To give some idea of what this is we have taken the weight of a chassis as handed to the Test Dept. and added the tabulated list of items to it, which show how the final weight is arrived at.

It will be noted that the final chassis weight comes out about 40 lbs. more than we calculated.
