COPY OF A LETTER RECEIVED FROM:-

THE ROBINHOOD ENGINEERING WORKS LIMITED.
PUTNEY VALE,
LONDON.S.W.15.

Gen. Sales. LMB/KS.

30th October. 1919.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Limited.
Nightingale Road,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our letter of the 17th inst.,
Ref:- K.L.G/KS, we very much regret to find that the
two types of Experimental plugs we sent you were of
our single point variety, and not of the three-point
which you prefer. We hope that this fact has not
interfered with your tests, and will send three-point
plugs as soon as they are made.

We now beg to enclose samples of the special
Cleaners referred to in the penultimate paragraph of
our letter of the 17th inst., for use in connection
with these plugs. These Cleaners should in addition
to being revolved, be drawn slightly in and out so as
to clean the whole length of the interior insulation.

We shall be very glad to learn if you consider
these plugs an improvement upon our existing types, and
again beg to assure you that no effort will be spared
by us to supply you with a plug that is wholly up to your
requirements,

We are,

Yours faithfully,

p.p. THE ROBINHOOD ENGINEERING WORKS LTD.,
