SpectreCodename for Phantom III Clutch.

We send herewith N.Sch.4578 which shows the ball bearing replaced in the clutch casing for the support of the rear extension of the crankshaft.

An "Oilite" bush is used to carry the clutch shaft as now on test in France on 3-S-1.

Lubrication arrangements are exactly as on 3-S-1.

This scheme also shows the clutch plate carried only on the castellions with the object of improving the smoothness of action.

The castellions are unaltered from those shown in N.Sch.4507 except as regards length.

N.Sch.4578 herewith.
