Please note the following is an extract from Mr Hanbury's report No.1058.
"TYRES."
"General average round about 3000 miles. Continentals used at present. The 3-ribbed has given up to 6000 miles. One Palmer (the last) is being used up on a rear wheels, and there is an oversize (895x150) Continental to balance it. This tyre by-the-bye has partially blown off the rim three times, and causes me to wonder if oversize tyres are in the habit of doing this."
