With reference to the steering on PN{Mr Northey}'s car. This car is fitted with the side steering tube exactly similar to the present standard 40/50. It has non-set-up springs.

The steering was arranged in this way because on the bump test we had numerous steering failures with the car fitted with radius rods and stiff set-up springs.
