The ordering and availability of hypoid gears for 20 HP and 40/50 HP chassis.

| WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HYPOID GEARS. We ordered the 20 HP. higher ratio hypoids at the same time as we ordered the higher ratio for the 40/50 HP. The 20 HP. gears are now in the Works ready for fitting. The 40/50 HP. were promised for January 25th, and we cabled yesterday morning asking whether they have been despatched, and if so, for the name of the boat on which they were coming. This means that for the 20 HP. chassis we have actually got two ratios for the Hypoids in the Works, three pairs of each.
