May 6th, 1932.

Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Paul Street Works,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr. Dalrymple.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 4th., inst., and are pleased to hear that you expect delivery of Harrison Radiator Block very shortly.

We will immediately put in hand the radiator cases and the block and will forward them on to you as soon as completed.

We propose sending you two complete radiator cases, and we should like you to use the shell which we returned to you yesterday (fitted with the Mark II block) for the third radiator.

In connection with radiator mounting for the film type radiators, we should like your views on the suitability of the mounting on the radiators you are making up for us. The writer rather gathered, during his visit to your works at the beginning of the year, that you very definitely approved of the single centre point mounting as at present used on our 40/50 HP model.
At the present however we do not think this is practicable on the 20/25 HP model; in view of the failure of the Mark II radiator it rather looks as though it might be necessary to modify the mounting in order to compensate for the reduced structural strength of the Harrison Block as compared with our present hexagonal tube block.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
