Chandler}8/JH.14.10.38. 17.G.IV. - 512 - The above car has now done 9,505 miles with the standard Glevite Graphite bronze clutch facings, with no apparent sign of wear. We are anxious to try on this car a new type of facing known as "Sintered Bronze" abd made in England by C.A.V. We have prepared a set of these, which please fit to drg. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}554 herewith. When the car is dismantled, we will examine the driven plate and decide whether or not it is necessary to fit a new one.
