512 COPY FOR FILES. TYPED 14.10.38. 15.8.38. 17.G.4. CLUTCH. 10 1/2 months ago. The above car was fitted with Graphite Bronze 29.9.37. Mileage 8729. I tested it today for 20 miles. Clutch remains free from judder beyond slight synchro rattle, (the whole transmission is very slack) No sign of slip, pick up being quite rapid, Owing to the almost complete absence of 'cushion', one finds it slightly fierce at first, but after two or three practice engagements, a completely smooth start can easily be made every time. No sign of wear, pedal free movement appears unaltered. NOTE. Speedo reading 29.9.37 - 53165. " " 15.8.38 - 61894 - 8729. " " 14.10.38 - 62670 - 9505. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R.
