RE STABRITE DOWNTAKE PIPES With reference to the Downtake Pipes in Stabrite Steel which have been supplied by the Chesterfield Tube Co., The bends are good to drawing but the sectional thickness is inconsistent varying to .020 thin in places also the core of Tube is .025 eccentric with the outside. In addtion to these faults the gauges of these Tubes is 15 SWG instead of 14 SWG. We do not consider that brazing will present any difficulties as we have gone into this question previously. RHC.{R.
