To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1265 Paris 30-HP Trials Car. We are attending to the car. The steering has been dismantled. There was slack in the cam and end play in the cam shaft and worm shaft, particulars of which will be forwarded in due course. It will take us at least two days to do the steering. The bottom pivot thrust washers have had the three grooves put in, will not be finished until Monday. We are going to fit our carburetter to this car, and make their carburetter right on ours. We believe we know what the fault is. We shall not be through with this job until Tuesday or Wednesday. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
