ORIGINAL. TO EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. c. to Nor. c. to EPC. c. to Ry. c. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X 3485 X4357 GOSHAWK 11. LUBRICATION OF CAM FOR IGNITION MAKE AND BREAK. With regard to the first item on your report attached EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LG29/3/22, it is important that we should immediately try the fibre blocks for the make and break arm on the ignition tower. It is presumed that in the case of the Bakelite Dilecto blocks we have been using, the grain of the material has been round the right way, that is in the plane of rotation of the cam. We are at the moment engaged on seeing what can be done with the scheme of lubrication. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RECEIVED APR 1 1922 | ||
