Herewith please find small photostat copies of sheets K, L, M, N, of battery continuous high rate discharge curves through a constant resistance of .100 ohm. Continuous high rate discharge curves through .0763 ohm external resistance have already been given of all the batteries on sheets K and L, with the exception of the Willard S.J.W.G.28. No.68. With the rig arranged as described in our previous report EFC1/T13.9.21, it is a comparatively simple matter to take a curve for any battery and it was thought useful to put these batteries through the .100 ohm test for comparison with future cases.

Sheet N contains curves obtained on the smaller size of batteries for the Goshawk, (one battery of each kind).

[underlined]40/50, Chassis Batteries.[/underlined]

Curve O, sheet L, refers to a Lucas battery which has been used considerably on chassis 7 -GA.

Curve 10A, sheet L, refers to a considerably used standard Exide battery (previous to modifications) and is interesting from the point of view of the high cranking ability possible with only wood separators, when the battery is in a very active condition, but liable to short circuit.

Curves 18E and 50, sheet K, refer to two other similar batteries, after considerable use.

Curve 40, sheet K, refers to the P & R H.D.E.13, which had been running for some time on the Demonstration Car. (This is not one of the very latest P & R batteries received).
