HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/M10.11.30. 27-EX. Y 899? You will see I have written to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} about sending the chassis to Park Ward, and I think he will agree. We take it that although the dual carburetter will not be fitted when the chassis goes to P. W. this feature will be on the chassis before it leaves for France if at all possible, as it is a thing we want to keep alive, and while I agree from a test point of view it would be better to fit it to another car, if R.{Sir Henry Royce} has it, it keeps up his interest. We might be able to let you have a design of the petrol tank with central vent in time for you to slip this on after you get the car back from P. W. It is merely a standard tank with the central vent fitting and a shortened piece of tube in the filler spout. We will try to get it off in a day or two.
