-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KT.25.11.33. is very much difference. In order that you can have a basis for comparison, we are sending out to you a set of Dunlop Fort Triple Stud tyres, which are acknowledged to be the best non-skids available. Naturally these are impossible on account of noise, but you will appreciate this. We find that on the first fifteen cars the tyres are wearing in a peculiar way, actually the inside of the tread is being worn away first. We do not know whether you can find examples of this amongst your worn tyres at Chateauroux. In any event, we hope that the modification to the front axle pivot lean, incorporated on the car you are at present running, will improve this feature.
