The condition of various vehicle components.

EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. -3- Expl. No. REF: RIC2/BE24.7.25.

Inlet pipes and exhaust pipes. Condition O.K.
Oil pump drive. Condition O.K.
Carburetter. Condition O.K.
Camshaft & bearings.
General condition of camshaft and bearings very good; All bearings being a very good fit on shaft and in crankcase.
Mag. and dynamo drive.
Condition O.K. Dynamo pinion O.K., slight bedding on teeth.
Distributor and water pump drive.
Distributor pinions O.K. Slight cross bedding on teeth Hardy fabric shows signs of breaking away. With the exception of this condition very good.
Idler gear. Idler gear O.K. Cam wheel O.K.
Water pump.
General condition very good. Glands O.K. Slight wear on shaft.
Water connections.
O.K. Oil fittings including filler and oil breather indicator O.K.
Fan. Condition O.K.
Front engine suspension. Condition O.K.

FRAME.

Generally speaking, the frame and cross members are in excellent condition there being no signs of flaws, cracks or slack bolts.
Off-side front mud wing stay broken across the bolt holes which bolts stay to the frame.
Front springs.
Front shackle pin worn in spring eyes .003 to .004.
Rear .005 to .007.
