Request for a detailed report on a 'steering wobble' issue observed during a 10,000-mile test on chassis 10-G-3.

10,000 miles test.

In the report of running of the above car dated 18.4.26 it is stated "on rough roads at slow speeds wobbles developed." On the following day it states, "steering wobbles can be got now at 20 m.p.h. approximately". On the following day "steering wobbles again developed at approximately 20 m.p.h."

If you have not already done so would you please ask for a report on the following points:-

1. Did these wobbles develop on their own, or were they forced.

2. Did they immediately die away if the steering wheel was released or did they persist under these conditions, always provided the speed was maintained.

3. In the opinion of the testers, has this feature developed since the commencement of the test, or has it only been observed for the first time now.
